Students only?

Hi!
There is a contradiction. The Devpost page says 'Students only', but the AI Valley page doesn't mention this restriction.
As an independent developer, am I legally eligible to participate?

    Wanted to ask that questions as well. Most likely they want to circumvent the Terms of Service
